My new series, a menage historical set in 1860s Washington Territory, has been contracted with Siren Publishing. The first book, appropriately named "The First Bride" is slated for a spring publication date. Here's a little peek:
______________
1864, Port Steele, Washington Territory
Ladies,
The inhabitants of Port Steele welcome you to Bachelor Bay, Washington Territory.
You have chosen to embark on a journey rife with excitement to an untamed land of incomparable beauty where the trees are as tall as mountains, the water as blue as any sapphire, and the men outnumber the women fifty to one. To leave the comfort of civilization and the support of your families to journey west takes great courage, but you are all courageous women. Together we will write the history of Washington Territory and develop the foundation of future generations.
We thank for your joining us in our quest to settle this land. May you love well, live long, make your fortunes, and attain your desires.

Life Interrupted
Yes, I know, it's been a long time coming, but I finally have a new release out today. I'm working on two more projects as we speak, a romantic suspense involving twin brothers, one a firefighter, the other a PI. The heroine is searching for the women who stole her identity and ruined her life.
My other project involves "mail order brides" in a way. That's all I'll say about that one.
So where have I been? First of all, 2009 was a year of wonderful things and a year of incredibly painful things. When 2010 started, I vowed to keep the people who'd created me so much pain last year on the edge of my life instead of in the middle of it. So far, it's working quite well, and my creative juices have finally started flowing.
What you may not know is that I also write m/f romances under another pen name. I'm waiting to hear back from a few publishers on my latest completed novel. I'm also working on the sequel.
I'm hoping to have another Sofia book available this year. This'll be a much longer, more involved novel, more in line with my m/f romances. I'll be spending more time getting to know the characters and their motivations than I have in my past Sofia books. I can't wait for what the future holds for me and my books.

Yes, I'm Still Here
I've haven't posted much on this blog, but I assure you I'm actively writing. My next release is due out early summer from Siren Publishing as part of the Menage Amour line. My next novel is a continuation of Natalie and Levi's story. As soon as I have a cover and a publication date, I'll post it.
Here's a blurb:
Natalie fears Levi is falling out of love with her. When he hires his best friend as a ranch hand, she’s equally shocked at the uncontrollable attraction she feels toward him. How will Levi respond if he finds out?
Levi Kelly’s sexual desires go way beyond the missionary position. When his best friend, Trace, admits to falling for his girlfriend, Levi proposes they share her. The two men slowly seduce Natalie, teaching her she has more than enough love for two men.
I'm also working on a historical and a romantic suspense/mystery novel.

Questions for Menage Authors
TalkingTwoLips, a Yahoo group, is having a menage day today. A reader posted a set of questions which you might find interesting, so I'm posted those same questions here.
What inspired you to write ménage?
I was inspired the endless possibilities of things an author can do with multiple men. :) Also multiple men catering to a woman's needs is the ultimate female fantasy.
Which trio that you have created do you really feel maybe the closest too.. ( I know your close to all of them) but come on you know the favorite child syndrome....
Since I've only actually published one ménage to date, I have to see that the trio of Cody, Jerome, and Taryn are my favorites. I had a great time with all the situations I put them into. These three all have their individual quirks. Jerome loves to use purple prose. I had a great time with that.
How hard is it to promo ménage stories?
Not hard at all. They practically sell themselves.
What do you see new happening in ménage stories in the future?
I think that the competition will increase which is good for both authors and readers. It's still such a new genre that authors are forced to put out books as fast as they can and almost everything sells. With increased competition, I think we'll see better writing, better plots, better characterization, and better sex scenes. I really think that's good for everyone. Right now, at my publisher if you write a cowboy ménage, you have an instant best seller. I'd like to see the genre grow so that other types of stories are just as popular.
How hard is it to write a ménage of m/m/m verses m/f/m ?
Because I have to get into my character's heads when I write, I have to be able to imagine what they're doing. To date I haven't tried to imagine what goes on in the heads of m/m/m. But who knows in the future. It could be fun.

A Reader Review
A special thanks to reader, Cindy, for this wonderful review of Winner Takes All.
Taryn is a good girl pretending to be bad. She does it for the publicity it get's her and her WNBA team, that is, she pretends until she meets the bad boy of football , Cody Brickman. Cody proceeds to teach Taryn what it means to really be a bad girl.
Jerome is Taryn's best friend and has wanted her for years and finally he gets his chance to have her, that is as long as he's willing to share Taryn with Cody, and believe you me, he is more than willing.
Cody and Jerome then find a list of Taryn's sexual fantasies, and one by one, make them all come true.
Sofia has out done herself with "Winner Takes All", it is has a surprising depth to the story that is awesome and it is totally hot all at the same time.
Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down, I enjoyed every last word, and I am so looking forward to Sofia's next book.

Winner Takes All--Coming in 2009
Women's pro basketball star, Taryn Belle scores baskets on the court and conquests off the court. Her reputation as the baddest of bad girls garners major publicity for women's sports.
Cody Brickman, a hotshot quarterback with a wild streak, falls prey to one of Taryn's promotion schemes, and she falls prey to a night in his bed.
Cody suspects her persona is an elaborate ruse fueled up by a string of carefully crafted publicity stunts, especially after she publicly slams his sexual prowess. He backs Taryn into a corner until the only way out is to play the part she's created by showing Cody how bad she can be. Jerome, Taryn's long-time admirer and Cody's teammate, will take Taryn any way he can get her, even if it means sharing.
How far will a girl go to publicize the sport she loves and maintain her bad girl reputation in a game where the winner takes all?
Coming in 2009 from Menage Amour, Siren Publishing
